What kept Dr. Chad healthy during the CrossFit Games? In addition to normally working out several times a week and adhering to a Mediterranean and all-organic diet, Dr. Chad uses his own protein powder ProteinPruTect to helps boost his immunity. ProteinPruTect achieves this largely because of its serum-derived immunoglobulin concentrate.

Immunoglobulins help strengthen the body's immune system by helping to ensure that only nutrients are absorbed through the gastrointestinal (GI) tract in our digestive system. The GI tract normally produces about five grams of immunoglobulins per day. However, during times of stress, such as during strenuous CrossFit Games workouts, significantly less immunoglobulins are secreted. Supplemental immunoglobulins can support the body's immune system, such as serum-derived immunoglobulin concentrate (SDIC).

SDIC is the leading ingredient of ProteinPruTect and represents a breakthrough in immunoglobulin supplementation. SDIC is a highly concentrated, non-dairy source of serum-derived immunoglobulin antibodies and immuno-proteins. It possesses three times more IgG and total immunoglobulins than colostrum and has twice as much cysteine, an important amino acid for maintaining glutathione levels. SDIC delivers 15 times the level of transferrin and lactoferrin than colostrum alone and one therapeutic dose of ProteinPruTect supplies over 2,500 mg of SDIC.
